I Love Russell County, Community Foundation Match Month Campaign The Russell County Area Community Foundation (RCACF) exists to preserve our rural way of life. In February, we have the bold goal to raise $50,000 as part of the I Love Russell County Campaign to strengthen the Fund for a Better Russell County Area, a permanent endowment that awards grants for parks, recreation, schools, the arts, public health, economic development and more. Community foundation now accepting spring grant applications RUSSELL, Kan.—The Russell County Area Community Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications are due Sunday, March 15, 2020. Last spring, the City of Luray was awarded grant funding from the community foundation for the City Park Revitalization project. The award went specifically to the large play equipment that replaced the equipment that was previously torn out. This project not only provided the children with a safer place to play, but also brought many people together for the betterment of the community.
