Community foundation now accepting spring grant applications

RUSSELL, Kan.—The Russell County Area Community Foundation is now accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications are due Monday, March 15, 2021.

Last spring, the Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas- Pioneer Developmental Center in Russell was awarded grant funding from the community foundation to purchase new conference room furniture. The award went specifically to the current and new conference rooms for Kid-Link staff to hold meetings and consultations that serve the children (aged 0-3) of Russell County.

This project allowed for additional space and seating to allow Kid-Link to meet the specific needs of each child served. Because of this grant specialists can meet and review individual needs and challenges, develop options for goals, and provide a safe and clean space for numerous potential testing’s that a child may be needing.
