DSNWK Outgrew Space

Developmental Services of NW Kansas

As Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas grows, so does the need for more space. The organization outgrew the meeting room at the Pioneer Developmental Center, so the community foundation awarded the organization two grants to renovate the center in order to more efficiently use the space.

DSNWK was able to convert the space into three offices and a large conference room as well as purchase new furniture. "DSNWK is thankful for the office and conference space, as well as the table and chairs utilized in the area," said grantee Samantha Montgomery. "The additional space and seating allow Kid-Link to meet the specific needs of each child served. Our specialists can meet and review individual needs, discuss challenges, develop options for goals, and provide a safe and clean space for numerous potential testing's that a child may be needing."
